Lena Mark is a fashion icon in the National Capital known for her exquisite jewelry collections.

 

Lena grew up in the Ukraine during a time not permitted to foreign influence and imports. As a little girl, she developed a flair for fashion.  Lena would take her mother’s simplistic jewelry and redesign it with whatever material she was able to put her hands on – stones, buttons and even fabric.  Lena had a dream – to enter the world of fashion and one day – visit New York.

 

In 1995 – she left the Ukraine with her Bachelor of Arts Degree, her son, her husband and her love for fashion.  She discovered New York.  Her dream became a reality.  There was no turning back.  Fashion took over her life.

 

Lena is the creative soul behind many of her lines of jewelry.  She works with artisans around the world to design and create new contemporary collections reflecting the style and desires of today’s women.

“I look at what has happened to my life and I would never have imagined as a young girl that my life would be like this,” says Lena.  “I feel I have beautified and empowered today’s women.  It’s amazing what wearing a special piece of jewelry will do for you.  It changes who you are and it gives you confidence.”

 

Today Lena continues to work with designers across the world and produce new collections of jewelry.  “Too much of a good thing is a good thing” says Lena as she enters her jewelry heaven.
