brian is well known for his canadian landscapes finding inspiration and colour in the wilderness where he lives in ontario. He loves to present the landscape in a unique imaginary colourful way. He is also well known for his “omo” series on etiopia telling the story of the omo valley people, an untouched civilization for centuries. The remembrance project was also part of his journey as his work commerates the anniversary of the first world war.

Brian attended the Ontario college of art and design. In 1995, he founded the lorimer fine art mural design and painting studio, employing and mentoring many young visual artists throughout Canada.

his work has been exhibited in galleries across Canada as well as Australia and the United States and is part of many large private collections.

art is a beautiful journey and through this journey, gordon and I met brian and his wife margaret through through the gallery in prince edward island.   We have been connected since and developed a friendship and appreciation for the art and ‘gallery chats’.  It is an honour to have brian join our gallery and share his passion – his love for the wilderness.
